After 9 months of reflection, discourse, and exploration, Afro Urban Society is honored to present a digital event featuring our 2019-2020 Onye Ozi Artist Cohort.

‘How We Find Ourselves’
A (online) multidisciplinary artistic experience on African diasporic relations and identity.

We have shared time and space with the artists, and are proud of how much time and thought they dedicated to the process. Due to the impact of COVID-19, the in-person art and performance event previously scheduled at EastSide Arts Alliance, has been modified to a digital presentation and interactive gathering with the participating artists. At this event, artists will share excerpts of their project ideas, and their thoughts and views about the themes and topics explored throughout the fellowship.
