Gather ingredients from the list below, and tune in on Saturday 3:00PM US Pacific Time.

Krystle will go live showing us how she gets down preparing traditional dishes from New Orleans with food staples. Recipes can be/have been adapted to fit various dietary needs and preferences.

***Ingredients list***
Feeds four (4) but the recipe is easily halved or doubled.

⅓ - ½ pound of peeled, deveined shrimp
⅓ - ½ pound boneless, skinless chicken thighs
⅓ - ½ pound of sliced smoked sausage (beef, chicken, pork, etc.)
¼ cup of oil
½ EACH of chopped onions, bell peppers, and celery (the Holy Trinity)
Enough garlic to please your ancestors
1 can of chopped tomatoes
3 - 4 bay leaves
2 tsp Worcestershire sauce (optional)
2 tsp hot sauce (optional)
1 ½ cups of white rice
3 ½ cups of stock (chicken, veggie, beef)
Chopped green onion (garnish)

Notes: This recipe can be made vegetarian/ vegan using chickpeas, kidney beans, mushrooms, squash, etc.

At home, Krystle enjoys recreating the traditional dishes of her childhood - sometimes with healthier options, but often with just a little more butter.
