RatieD is a Zimbabwean singer and songwriter who aspires to bring light to her audience with motivational and uplifting music. Her singing is accompanied by a Zimbabwean traditional instrument called a mbira and some instances of a live band. RatieD has been working on her debut album since the beginning of the year and hopes to release it at the end of this summer. RatieD was one of the founding members of Zimbabwean Accapella ensemble Nobuntu and has taught choral classes to satisfy her love for harmonizing”.
