ABOUT
Philip Amo Agyapong is a choreographer, performer, dance educator and researcher from Ghana currently residing in Oakland, California specializing in African Traditional dance forms (both theory and practical), African Popular dance and Contemporary African dance. He holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Dance and Theatre Arts and a Master of Fine Arts degree in Dance from the University of Ghana. Currently, Philip teaches in Schools across the Bay Area and beyond, and practices and performs with Bay Area dance companies such as Diamano Coura West African Dance Company, African Music and Dance Ensemble and Afro Urban Society.
